The closing ceremony of the 1st batch of the Shaamilu Keyli 2024 Teacher Attachment Program took place on Tuesday, with the Deputy Minister of Education, Aiminath Maria, in attendance. A total of 36 teachers from various schools across the Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu, Shaviyani, Baa, Kaafu, Alif Alif, Thaa, Gaaf Alif, Gaaf Dhaalu, and Seenu atolls participated in this program.

During the one-week program held in Malé City, participants visited key institutions, including Muhyiddin School, Thaajudheen School, Aminiya School, Imaduddin School, Ghaazee School, Jamaluddin School, and Majeediyya School. These visits provided first-hand exposure to best practices in inclusive education, particularly in teaching students with disabilities.

The Shaamilu Keyli Program aims to equip teachers from the atolls with practical insights by observing the tools and techniques used in inclusive education. It also provides participants with knowledge on fostering a more inclusive learning environment, as well as guidance on acquiring and preparing resources to support diverse learning needs within their school communities.
