Teacher Training on Early Identification Screening Tool Training Program sessions conducted in Fuvamulaku City

The Department recently organized Teacher Training on Early Identification Screening Tool Training Program sessions conducted in Fuvamulaku City. This two-day training initiative was designed specifically for pre-school educators within the city, aiming to familiarize them with the screening tool developed as part of the early identification and intervention initiatives launched in 2019 under the LAMP project.
The training covered not only the operational aspects of the screening tool but also included informative sessions to guide educators on effective teaching strategies for all students, with a particular emphasis on recognizing and addressing characteristics associated with diverse learning abilities. A cohort of 48 pre-school teachers from Fuvamulaku City actively participated in this training program.
The session on the Early Identification Screening Tool Training Program is scheduled to be conducted nationwide this year.
