‘Bright Horizons for Inclusive Education’ Workshop Held for 26 Schools in Greater Malé Area
The one-day “Bright Horizons for Inclusive Education” workshop brought together 50 teachers from 26 schools in the Greater Malé Area for targeted professional development in inclusive practices.The workshop was organized in partnership with MyPeegu, India, and facilitated by Chetan Jaiswal, Founder and CEO of MyPeegu.
The session focused on enhancing schools’ ability to support students with complex learning profiles. Key topics included developing Individualized Curriculum Plans (ICPs) and implementing effective behavior management strategies in inclusive classrooms.Through interactive discussions and practical guidance, teachers explored structured methods for planning, adapting instruction, and addressing diverse behavioral and learning needs. The workshop aimed to provide educators with tools for immediate use in creating more responsive and supportive learning environments.
