The mainstream Teacher Training Program has commenced today. A total of 200 participants including teachers and leading teachers of the foundation stage and key stages 1 and 2 from 66 schools across the country will be taking part in the training program.
The two-week-long program will emphasis on ways identify students with complex learning profiles focusing on Autism and Learning Disabilities and ways to implement a successful inclusive system in the school.
The training program conducted by the Department of Inclusive Education with be facilitated by the leading teacher of Maradhool School, Aishath Labeeqa, the leading teacher of Mariyam Shathrath Shakir, and SEN teacher of Lh Atoll Education Centre, Sharafiyya Ali Fulhu.
