Students’ education faced one of the biggest impacts of COVID19: Deputy Minister Mohamed Ihsaan.

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, Mohamed Ihsaan believes that the biggest impact of the 2020 health crisis is faced by the education sector.

Deputy Minister noted this during the third session of the orientation program on the revised Inclusive Education Policy aimed at school principals.

He stated that the new Education Law will come into effect on the next academic year, throws major light on and prioritizes Inclusive Education.

Speaking about the current challenges, Deputy Minister noted that, education of all students was highly affected due to the COVID19 health crisis. He stressed that all educational professionals must work together to overcome this trial. He also called upon all educational professionals to work towards providing regular and normal schooling experiences for all students.

Deputy Minister also said that it is essential for the principals to be more aware of the Inclusive Education Policies and expressed gratitude to the Department of Inclusive Education for the work the department does to promote Inclusive Education.
