Teacher training on Inclusive Education for New Teachers Workshops have been commenced on 1st March 2020 in B. Atoll Education Centre and Addu City Sharafuddin School. Series of workshops have been organised in this regard, by the Department of Inclusive Education to support newly joined special education teachers in all the schools of the Maldives. The first two workshops of this series were conducted in two locations in which teachers from N, R, and B atoll participated in the workshop held at B. Atoll Education Centre, and GA, GDh, Gn and S.Atoll teachers participated in the workshop held at Addu City, Sharafuddin School. Total 70 teachers participated in these two workshops were facilitated by the professional staff of the Department of Inclusive Education. Remaining workshops in this series will be conducted via online plat forms due to Covid 19 outbreak in the Maldives
