Inauguration ceremony of Inclusive Support Units to be established in three Maldivian schools with aid from Indian government has been held

Inauguration ceremony of Inclusive Support Units to be established in three Maldivian schools with aid from Indian government has been held.

The project was launched by Indian Ambassador to the Maldives Munu Mahawar at a ceremony held at Haa Alifu Atoll Education Centre.

Under the project, inclusive support units will be established in Haa Alifu Atoll Education Centre, L. Ihahdhoo School and G. Dh. Thinadhoo Aboobakuru School. Under the project, teacher training will be carried out to strengthen the inclusive support units established in the three schools. It also includes procuring and providing equipment for units. 

This is the second year the project has been carried out with grant assistance from the Indian government. A total of MVR 1,574,920 was provided under the program in Haa Dhaalu Atoll and Fuvahmulah City last year. The project has been carried out at Kulhudhuffushi Afeefudheen School and Hafiz Ahmed School in Fuvahmulah City.
