Technical Committee for the years 2021 – 2022 holds first meeting.

The newly designated Technical Committee of DoIE for the years 2021 – 2022 holds the first committee meeting. The online meeting was taken by the technical staff of the department as well.
The main resolutions of the committee are to provide technical assistance to develop Inclusive Education in the country as well as, ensure the quality of education provided to students with complex learning profiles. In addition to that, the committee is also expected to provide technical assistance to develop the department. The current committee consists of 10 members in total:
- Abdulla Imran – Director, Department of Inclusive Education
- Shiyama Aboobakur – Education Development Officer Coordinator , National Institute of Education
- Fathimath Leena – Leading Teacher, Ghaazee School
- Fazeena Rasheed – Education Officer , Quality Assessment Department
- Aishath Siyana – Assistant Director , Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services
- Abdullah Rasheed – Principal , Huravee School
- Fathimath Nishan – Assistant Professor , the Maldives National University
- Muruthallah Moosa – Executive Committee Member, ARC
- Shifazaa Wajeeh – Director General, NSPA
- Mohamed Saddam – Advocate, Blind and Visually Impaired Society of Maldives.
